Bio:

Dr. Khosla has over 25 years of experience in the area of urban poverty, poverty alleviation, education, community mobilization and social capital building, and gender issues. She has been responsible for implementation of citywide slum upgrading projects with the support of USAID FIRE project in Ludhiana, and UNICEF and CARE India in Delhi that aimed at building community capacities to improve access to basic services. She has helped review the institutional structures, staffing issues and build teams of field facilitators in use of participatory instruments (PLA). She is presently heading a team for WSP funded project on Delhi's UWSS reform strategy as well as for a SANEI funded research study on vulnerability index of the urban poor. She has also served as the Social Expert in the DFID-funded KUSP Organization Development Consultancy.
